Shea Moisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Shampoo and Conditioner Review
Shea moisture is certified organic, natural and cruelty free
hair care brand. I have been following Shea Moisture on twitter for quite some
time and saw their products in Boots stores as well. For last few years, I am
trying my best to go for natural hair products. I am eliminating products with
SLS, parabens and silicon in my hair care routine. I don’t have any extensive
or lavish routine anyway. But a nice warm oil massage and a good combination of
shampoo + conditioner which don’t strip natural hair oils, cleanse scalp
properly without leaving any nasty residue and make hair healthy looking, is
all I want. Since I got a baby, oil massage is just a fancy thought now and I rely
more on my shampoo and conditioner.

Missguided Babe Power: An Insta Worthy Perfume
Missguided Babe Power was the fastest selling perfume,
outselling Paco Rabbane and Dior when it launched last year. I didn’t even know
that there was a perfume by Missguided and it was already a smashing hit, until
I received it. That is because it is not the brand where I would normally look
for perfume.

Affordable Advent Calendars at Chemist 4 U
It’s that magical time of the year where advent calendars
are popping up here and there like mushrooms in garden after rainy days. For
last few years this trend is getting stronger and doesn’t seem to be dying
anytime sooner. I love the idea of advent calendars, it is like shopping every
day and the “surprise” element adds a nice touch.

Weleda Calendula Babycare Top to Toe Set
Ever since I got my baby girl, Weleda baby products were
on my radar, especially Calendula nappy change cream. I didn’t hear any bad
review about this cream till date. So naturally I was curious. However, I was
not using many products other than coconut oil on my new born; I waited for a
little longer to actually try it. In response to one of my tweet, people at
Weleda were kind enough to send me Weleda Calendula Top to Toe set to try.

Toys & Child Development ft: Hape Battery Powered Engine Set
Using toys to entertain children is not a new world approach
to keep little minds busy. It is as old as man. I have seen toys made out of
clay and mud, excavated from the ruins of world second ancient civilisation,
Indus valley. So, why the need of toys
for kids even felt by mankind? It could be for the obvious reason to keep them
busy while adults take on with their lives. However, I feel toys are miniature
form of our world making it relevant to children.

What Was In My Baby's Hospital Bag
And
what we actually used
This post is so late that it is sheer embarrassment to
put it online. My little nugget is nearly five months old. But I decided to
publish this post anyway. There are two reasons; One, as I took photos for the
post already, right before leaving for hospital. Second, I read numerous blog
posts and watched many videos about what to pack in hospital bag which were
years old and found them helpful. So it means that no matter how old these
posts are, they are always helpful for new parents as a reference guide.

Hourglass Veil Translucent Loose Setting Powder – a beauty in a jar
Hourglass powder products – blushes and setting powders –
are like precious gems in my makeup collection. I recently added another gem,
Hourglass veil translucent loose setting powder which actually has finely
milled precious stone; Diamond.

First Three Months of Motherhood: The highs & the lows
So, it has been three months that my darling baby girl
arrived. So much has changed, yet it feels like she was here with me all these
past years. She was not stranger to me when I first held her in my arms. It was
like I knew her face ever since; the feel of her skin was familiar, her new
baby smell was not new to me.

The Art of Dodging Delivery Charges
I love the traditional way of shopping – making plan,
taking time out, getting ready and then browsing stores to find the perfect
item. And when I find something worth buying, then going to the till,
exchanging few nice comments and little pleasant conversations with person over
the till, sometimes receiving and giving compliments on purchases whilst
standing in a queue, all these little chit chats and socialising adds up and
create a wholesome experience. And the best part, no shipping charges. A fuel
or resource used to get to the mall is also part of this experience. In the end
a cup of coffee closes the day.

neck and back muscles are getting stronger.

My Postnatal Skin Condition and Lancôme Advance Génifique Eye Cream to the Rescue
Throughout my first pregnancy, I enjoyed better skin
days. My skin was behaving very well. I was very conservative when it came to
skincare during pregnancy. I was drinking plenty of water and was using few
basic skincare products. However, once I left hospital, my skin became horribly
dry and patchy. Perhaps I consumed huge volume of gas and air which tends to
suck all the moisture out of skin. Furthermore I had a terrible postnatal body
rash which crept up to chin area.

and now I am holding a bundle of joy in my arms. It is surreal but it is
definitely not a dream.

Organic Shop Hair Care Review
Organic Shop is a new hair care brand to me which offers 98%
natural origin ingredients based products. Organic shop hair care products are
SLS and parabens free. I received a set of shampoo, conditioner and hair mask
in raspberry and acai fragrance range which is design to boost volume,
strengthen and thicken hair. My hair lacks all these characteristics because my
hair is thin in texture, straight and oily and does not have lots of volume.

Travel Essentials and KITT Air Range Travel Pillow Review
I will make a confession before starting this post, that
when it comes to packing for travelling, I am not a light packer. I need
literally everything I own (in my head not in reality) when I am going away
even for a day. My hand bag is always stuffed with “essentials” I believe my
life depends on. I am an anxious traveller. However, as I became more frequent
traveller, I learnt to narrow down my “essentials”. Not going to lie, such a
short list gives me anxiety sometime but I try really hard now to stick to few
items.

Are You Spring Ready? OOTD
It sounds really ridiculous to talk about spring, when
weather is all getting crazy at the moment. But as a matter of fact, brands
have put Christmas 2018 to the bed by now and started working on spring 2019
collections already. So it is fair enough that we prepare for April showers now.

The Ordinary Buffet Serum Review
When a skincare brand is this economical that I can get
products to address any skin issue, then why not collect them all. And I am
exactly doing that nowadays. A month ago, I did another haul from The Ordinary,
some items were old favourites repurchased, while few were new products I wanted
to try for my recent skin concerns. As it is winter and my skin doesn’t cope
with the weather very well. Hence I needed some light weight serum which provides
instant hydration to revitalize skin without being heavy.
