PHB ethical beauty is a British family brand and is the home of largest hand made, organic, natural, vegan, cruelty free and halal certified skincare and cosmetics. They donate 20% of their profit to charity to help improve the lives of people and animals.
PHB produces a wide range of natural and mineral based cosmetics, suitable for all
skin types. Their products are free from palm oil, artificial dyes and eco
friendly. I was always intrigued to try out their products because of such big
claims. Fortunately, because of my blog, I was sent a lipstick to review.
That’s why I love blogging that I get a chance to try out products from many
amazing brands and know more about them.
I
was sent a 100% pure organic lipstick in a shade Raspberry. PHB lipsticks are
paraben free, gluten free and free form Genetically modified ingredients. It is a common misconception that natural lipsticks have limited shades range but PHB
lipsticks are available in bold wearable colours too.
The
outer packaging is quite nice and clean with few green leaves showing their
ethical roots. Lipstick itself is enclosed in clean white casing with silver
PHB printed on it. The lipstick smells very fruity and smells like a candy. The
shade I got is blue tone pink with shimmer. I am not a fan of such shade. It doesn’t
suit me or I think it doesn’t suit me. But because there are many other shades,
I can pick one easily which suits me well.
Shimmer
is from natural mica. The lipstick feels little dry at first but once warm up after
first swipe, it turns into highly moisturising lip product. PHB lipsticks are
infused with rosehip oil, making them very hydrating. Rosehip oil also helps in nourishing and
conditioning lips. PHB lipstick also contains organic shea butter and jojoba
oil. I love how good and easy this lipstick feels on lips. Although the product
is not long wearing but gives a good punch of colour and lips feel hydrated
even after it wears off.
I
am natural products enthusiast and PHB pure organic lipstick is right up my
alley. They are available on PHB website for £12.95
