Can any skin care product be
so cheap and also giving you remarkable results at the same time? The answer is
YES. Today I am revealing the biggest secret of my skincare i.e. Norangi Ubtan.
Natural, South Asian ethnic face and body scrub.
If I tell you, this was my
first ever proper skin care product then I will not be exaggerating. I
discovered Norangi Ubtan through my aunt during my teens and since then I am
completely obsessed with it. Although it is for all skin type but it is a life
saver for my oily skin. If it would not in my skincare stash, I would be
completely lost.
Believe me; I have used many
alternate products with the word “Ubtan” clinging to them, some powder some in
a form of cream, but nothing worked. All of them over dried, irritated or made
my skin over-sensitive.
This stuff is packed with
100% natural & herbal ingredients. Not a single chemical component. And
after years of manufacturing nothing changed a bit. That’s what I called
quality control.
If I am recalling my early
memories correctly, there were a whole lot of ingredients printed on the back
of the bottle, which most of them I couldn't even pronounce. However, to keep
the recipe secret only a few ingredients are mention on new packaging. Like
rose, sandal wood, almond, jasmine and few others.
It Lighten, brighten,
exfoliates and nourishes the skin at the same time. It helps in reducing fine
lines and fades away blemishes. It is even suitable for acne prone skin. I never found any exfoliator to be so gentle
on the skin like this. Results can be seen from the first application. And it
is suitable for all skin type.
How
to use?
Mix required amount of
Norangi Ubtan with water, rose water or milk. I change the liquid according to
the weather as well.
Ladies with oily skin can
add few drops of lemon for extra benefit. Dry skin beauties can add few drops
of glycerine. Both ingredients can also be added to Ubtan mixture at the same
time.
For face, I would recommend
using a paste consistency so skin dragging doesn't happen. It can be used as a
daily face wash or once a week for deep cleansing. It may leave a yellow tint
on the skin. But using soap or face wash immediately after Ubtan is not
recommended. So, the optimal choice is to cleanse the face with Ubtan at night
and then in the morning use a regular face wash.
For a body, dough-like
consistency is recommended. Apply on skin and then scrub it off. Skin feels so soft and squeaky clean afterwards. I bet you will fall in love with your skin again. Gladly it is
available widely in Pakistan. If you are in Pakistan, grab one now or if out of
Pakistan then this is a best gift to ask for.
Share your thoughts and how
you feel about Norangi Ubtan? I love reading your comments.
