Flirty, Fabulous Hair in Winter but How

Caught up in so many ideas to get healthy, shiny hair
this winter but don’t know from where to start???? Then look no further because
I am here to rescue. Just follow these simple steps every day and see the difference
in no time.
Eat
Healthy
Eating healthy means healthy hair. Food enriched with vitamins,
protein and omega-3 fatty acids are the keys to healthy, shiny and stronger hair.
Consumption of sea food once a week, a handful of mixed nuts and green
vegetables can [provide all the essential nutrients for your hair. Like vitamin
E is different nuts helps to protect hair cells from DNA damage. Omega-3 fatty acid
keeps scalp and hair strands hydrated.
Don’t
over wash
We all want clean, flirty and fabulous hair everyday but
washing hair everyday can strip natural oil, leaving hair dry and making strands
brittle. A gap between washes will actually help in distributing hair oil
evenly. For oily hair, it is better to shampoo on alternate days and for dry
and coarse hair after two or three days. Because dry hair needs more care. After washing
a coat of few drops of any, not so oily, oil on hair will keep strands nourish
and will protect from environmental elements.
Say no
to heat and over styling
Blow dry, colouring, flat ironing the list can go on; all
these are disaster for your hair strands. Try to eliminate heat styling as much
as possible. Let your hair dry naturally. Do not style your hair very tight. It
can put a lot of stress on hair and can stretch to extent where breakage is
easy. Always protect your hair with hat or scarf when going out in the sun to
protect you hair from UV rays. Use leave-in conditioner when heading to the
pool or beach.
Nourish
your hair
Just like face skin, your scalp also needs good deep
conditioning. This can be home-made or can be purchased from market. Once in a
week a good massage on scalp with any hair oil will stimulate blood flow
towards the scalp to combat any dryness or flakiness. Want to know how to

Trim
those ends
I know, I know that cutting hair cannot make them grow
faster and longer. But dry end are more prone to become split ends. To avoid
hair from splitting, it is nice to cut those brittle ends off. Don’t do it
every week or month if you don’t need to. One another NO NO for hair is that if
you really want to have strong hair then never sleep with loose hair to eliminate
the hair and pillow friction.
