B. is Superdrug’s own makeup and skincare brand. The whole skincare range and makeup range is suitable for vegetarian and vegan. I never tried anything from their skincare range but picked a couple of products from makeup line last year as a gift and I absolutely loved them. So earlier this year in March, I picked a whipped blush from their Sweet Candy Shop collection.
The packaging of this whole collection is eye-catching. The blush comes in silver shiny plastic container with candy inspired stripes on the lid. This blush has a unique texture. It is described as whipped, but the texture is more like wet sand. It has sparsely tiny silver glitter particles which add a subtle glow to the cheeks.
The blush glides smoothly on skin without disturbing foundation underneath. Not patchy at all. And the colour can build up easily. I preferably use my fingers to apply this blush and then use my RT expert face brush with almost no foundation left on it, to blend out the edges. I do this with all cream blushes and tints. I find this technique very helpful like if I go heavy-handed with any blush then I can certainly rectify the error and tone down the colour.
The peach shade of blush is perfect for everyday luminous fresh look and the colour is also long lasting. I have been using it all summer and it survived the humid weather and my oily skin.
For the price of £7.99, you get 7.2 grams of product which is a lot of product. My blush is very well loved as you can see, but I barely made a dent in the product. For a drugstore brand, the price is a bit steep however you can get it on offer most of the time. At the moment, it is available on Superdrug website for half price.
